How You Generate an ERD in SSMS

(SSMS = SQL Server Management Studio) 

  1. Expand your database in SSMS.

  2. Right-click Database Diagrams.

  3. Select New Database Diagram.

  4. Choose the tables you want to include.

  5. SSMS automatically draws the ERD.
